Agency Dashboard
Excel and file import readiness
How to prepare property, unit, and tenant files before importing so bad data does not enter the agency dashboard.
Do not import an unclean file
Before import, review columns, names, numbers, cities, districts, duplicates, and empty fields. A fast but messy file can create hours of correction later.
Start with a small sample and review the dashboard result before uploading the full portfolio.
- Columns
- Duplicates
- Cities and districts
- Unit numbers
- Owners
- Tenants
Best import order
Import properties first, then units, owners or ownership shares, tenants, then leases. Adding leases before units or tenants increases linking errors.
What to review after import
Review record counts, unlinked records, duplicate units, properties without owners, and leases without payments. Do not start operations before this check.
Product status
Bulk import or import helper behavior can vary by page and file type. If the import tool or template is not visible, treat it as In Progress.
Operational numbers to review before deciding
Use this article together with dashboard metrics: collection rate, overdue rent, expiring leases, open expenses, owner balances, and alerts.
If the decision affects an owner, tenant, or financial transaction, ask the responsible role to review the record before execution.
- Collection rate
- Overdue rent
- Leases
- Expenses
- Owner balances
- Alerts
How to apply this inside the agency
Turn the article into a small dashboard action: open the related record, review the data, make the appropriate update, then document the outcome so the rest of the team can see it.
If the action involves a financial, regulatory, owner, or tenant-impacting decision, ask the responsible role to review it before final approval.
- Open the record
- Review data
- Take action
- Document outcome
- Escalate when needed
Product status and review needed
This feature or workflow is partial. Use only the controls visible in the interface and do not assume every option is available for every agency.
If a step described here is not visible in the agency dashboard, treat it as not enabled for your account and check with your admin or Product.
